PULP represents the art of crafting spaces where texture and character are layered & curated to tell a story.

Like the fibres in pulp, we believe design should be woven with layers of meaning, detail and tactility, and by utilising the full potential of every space, we aim to create compositions that are grounded, yet endlessly expressive.

Founded by director Benjamin Selke, Studio PULP is a creative practice driven by craft, collaboration and concept. We are a close-knit team united by a passion for thoughtful, story-led design. From architecture to interiors, our work blends narrative and nuance to shape spaces with meaning.

Studio PULP is a design-led practice working across boutique commercial and high-end residential projects, blending architecture and interiors with a strong sense of story.

From our light-filled warehouse studio in Darlington, we approach each project with curiosity and care. We believe in design that speaks quietly or boldly with purpose, texture, and meaning.

Every space we create is a considered response to context, people, and possibility.

Our Story

Studio PULP is led by founder and director Benjamin Selke, supported by a tight-knit team who each bring their own distinct creative lens.

Ryan McGregor an essential part of the studio’s rhythm for over four years brings depth and story-telling to every project.

Interior designer Jenna Ritchie lends her impeccable eye for colour, texture, and pattern, while architect Lea Suss Kempf brings sharp spatial thinking and a refined attention to detail.

Together, we craft spaces that are thoughtful, layered, and full of character.
